ISO 9001: 2015

ISO 9001:2015 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is the only standard in the family that can be certified to (although this is not a requirement).

It can be used by any organisation, large or small, regardless of its field of activity.

In fact, there are over one million companies and organisations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001.

ISO 18001

ISO 18001 is being replaced by ISO 45001. SHEQ Site’s advisors are able to guide you through this transition.

ISO 45001

ISO 45001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, with guidance for its use, to enable an organisation to proactively improve its OH&S performance in preventing injury and ill-health.

ISO 45001 is intended to be applicable to any organisation regardless of its size, type and nature.

ISO 45001 enables an organisation, through its OH&S management system, to integrate other aspects of health and safety, such as worker wellness/well-being; however, it should be noted that an organisation can be required by applicable legal requirements to also address such issues.

ISO 14001

ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system and has just been revised with key improvements that make it fit for the future.

ISO 14001:2015 responds to the latest trends, such as an increasing recognition by companies of the need to factor in both external and internal elements that influence their impact, including climate volatility.

Other key improvements in the new version include:

A greater commitment from leadership.

An increased alignment with strategic direction.

Greater protection for the environment, with a focus on proactive initiatives.

More effective communication, driven through a communications strategy.

Life-cycle thinking, considering each stage of a product or service, from development to end-of-life.
